Easter and St.Patrick's Day Poll Results

When asked to decide whether they like Easter WFF pieces more or less than St.Patrick's Day pieces, as a group, the collectors voted as follows:

Most of the collectors (66%) admitted buying St.Patrick's Day WFF pieces all year around. However, 15% still prefer to buy them specifically for St.Patrick's Day.

The number of St.Patrick's mouseys in participants' possession varies from 1 to 10, with an average of 3 pieces. Nine collectors do not have any St.Patrick's pieces at all.

The favorite among all St.Patrick's Day WFF pieces appears to be Colleen O'Green. 50% of participated collectors voted for her!

The "second best" prize goes to the new limited Hattie in St.Patrick's color.

The collectors were also asked which WFF piece from the regular line they would want to see painted in St. Patrick's Day colors and how. The most popular response was a Sugar & Spice piece with shamrock cookies (18 people voted for this piece!)

Other suggested pieces were:

• April Showers in an iridescent green raincoat with tiny dark green shamrocks painted on the coat


• Tea for Three with a shamrock tablecloth, a shamrock teapot and with the mouse and teddy in green outfits


• Loves Me with a shamrock


• Caught in the Act with shamrock cookies


• Jenny's Jams & Jellies with little cabbages and soda bread


• Little Nell in shades of green and white with a shamrock on her apron and a tiny pot of gold at her feet


• Double Delight in white shorts with green shamrock painted on them, and with ice cream in 2 shades of green


• Drifting Along with a shamrock on one end and a pot of gold with a rainbow on the other


• Mousey's Bake Sale with mice in various shades of green, and a white table cloth edged with green glitter shamrocks


• Brrr in green coat and with green leaves or shamrocks on the base


• Pudding Anyone with her skirt painted in a green blue and thin white stripe plaid, with green bodice, and green ribbon on her cap, and shamrock on her skirt and all around on the white icing on the pudding, done as a cake!


• Lord Mousebatten, One Mouse Band, Stand by Your Mole, Whoo's Inn


• A new Irish mouse to dance with Colleen, perhaps with a pipe and a beard, or a leprechaun...

81% of participants believe that any time of year is good to buy Easter WFF pieces. Cannot argue with that! Although there are two collectors who do not have Easter WFF mouseys in their collection, the average for other collectors came to 7 Easter pieces. The record belongs to a collector with 30 Easter pieces! And two others own 23 Easter pieces each!

The "Favorite Easter WFF Piece Award of Year 2002" goes to the new Easter Eggmobile piece.

Two other pieces, Miss Daisy and Easter Bunny-Mouse were 4 votes behind the winner.

And finally, collectors were asked to share their experience of displaying their mouseys. These are some of the collectors' tips on making an Easter WFF Display:

• Use a small 12" Easter tree. Decorate it with eggs and bunnies. Place WFF around the base.


• I display my Easter WFF using Brandywine houses and the Easter fence from the Mole Hole in California - really cute!


• I have all of them out in my village. Right now they share the village with the St. Patrick's wees. All are happy!


• I have all of my Easter WFF displayed in an Easter egg decorating scene. I love it!


• I took a fake egg shape and made it into an Easter Egg Tree House for Mousie's Egg Factory. All the Easter Bunny-Mouseys are lined up under it for more eggs and candy.
